| ***NEW ISO RATING!*** The Clever Fire Protection District is proud to announce that the district’s ISO rating has improved to a 4 classification within the City of Clever, and a 7 classification in our rural area. The district’s previous rating was an 8/9. An improved ISO rating could likely indicate a lower insurance premium for property owners within the district. ISO is an organization that surveys and evaluates fire departments throughout the United States to assess fire loss risk for communities. The Public Protection Classification program is a system that rates fire departments from 1 to 10. A rating of 1 is the best classification, and only 55 fire departments in the country are currently rated at 1, none of which are in Missouri. This rating system provides a standard in which most insurance premiums are determined. |
